Hammers are trying to bring the former player of Boca Juniors to Premier League.

With a few days to go before the transfer market closes, Cagliari will try to give Maran money to improve the squad. So far Giulini and Carli have only seen players leave the club but the potential arrival of the Juventus player, Pjaca, on loan is in progress whilst moves for a central defender and full-backs are also under way.
On the subject of exits, the name of Nahitan Nández is back in fashion, i with West Ham showing interest in him. In recent days we had rumors from around England, but in the last few hours the London club have decided to get serious about trying to bring the Uruguayan to the London Stadium under David Moyes. The former Everton and Manchester United manager who recently took over from the Chilean Manuel Pellegrini.

THE FIGURES – According to sources close to the London club, the offer written to the player is (dated 23 January) one of dizzying factors: a loan with an obligation of £ 40 million for Cagliari, while for the Léon (what does this mean) is a 4 and a half year contract with a salary of 2 million net until 30 June 2020, then gradually rising to 3 million pounds in the 2023-24 season. With additional bonuses both individual and team: from that of 5 thousand pounds for each presence in the starting eleven, to that of 2 thousand for each appearance as a substitute, as well as accommodation in the city paid by the club plus guaranteed air tickets to return to Uruguay during the season. Carlitos Tevez, former West Ham player and Nández’s partner at Boca Juniors, would also have intervened between the London club and the entourage of the player: the Apache would have convinced the Uruguayan to evaluate the destination after the initial uncertainties, the rest was the work of Agent Bentancur who allegedly discussed the agreement with the Hammers. The same agent, moreover, attended the Inter-Cagliari match and would have taken the opportunity to speak about the possible deal directly with the Rossoblù patron Tommaso Giulini, pending the official offer to the Rossoblù from leadership of West Ham.

WHAT WILL CAGLIARI DO? – What will Cagliari decide to do now? The draw at the San Siro against Inter, alongside Nández getting close to the levels of the beginning of the season, could suggest a conservative market, but it is also true that an offer of this type would make any club hesitate. In the event of a transfer, the rossoblù would lose one of the most important players in the squad, if not the most important in terms of salary and purchase price – a record in the history of the club spent a club record last summer – the garra, with his ability to cross, so much appreciated by the Cagliari fans, could thus find a home in London soon. It would be a new stage in Nández’s career after Peñarol (of which he was the youngest captain in history), Boca Juniors and most recently, Cagliari.

The eventual sale of the Uruguayan would on one hand be a serious blow for the club in via Mameli, but on the other it would represent an incredible gain for the rossoblù coffers after only six months on from the players arrival in Sardinia and, moreover, would put an end to the contractural related lawsuit. One thing seems certain though; whilst waiting for news on this one the last week of the transfer market at Cagliari the air will be really hot.
